SUMMER is coming to an end and fall is right around the corner. Of course, we are counting down the days ‘till it becomes sweater weather, pumpkin spice lattes, color changing leaves, and fresh, crispy, cool air! But before the weather gets too cold, here are some fun activities you can do with your friends or family to make the best of the weather before the cool air kicks in! Here are five ways to enjoy the final days of summer:
Go on a picnic
Who doesn’t like a nice picnic outdoors? Delicious snacks, cool drinks, and good vibes only! Grab a few friends and family members (heck, you can even go solo!), and get ready to have a relaxing time under the warm sun. Or, bring a ball and sweat a bit – up to you!
Have a Final BBQ
Summer BBQs are the b e s t because it’s just not the same when it’s cold outside. The sun is out, the meat is smoked and grilled, drinks are cold – what more can you ask for? Call your friends, family, and your neighbors over and have one final gathering before the holidays.
Host a Backyard Party
Hosting backyard parties are my favorite because it is a time of bonding and having a good time while eating great food. A great way to spice up your party is having your guests take turns playing Cocktail Claw! Why, you may ask -- because it is a childhood classic with an adult twist!
Attend a Bonfire
Another moment of bonding but at night. The crackling fire, the soft orange glow, and the warmth of the fire during the cool night is an experience on its own. Not to mention: S’MORES! The best thing on earth.
Watch the Sunset/Sunrise
Find a great spot in your city or town to sit and relax as you wait for the sun to do its magic! When the shorter and cooler days come around, watching the sun set/rise isn’t the same. It’ll also be another pretty thing to post on your social media.
